Military students called to active service return without penalty policyLiberty University works with active military students who are unable to complete courses due to deployment, TDY and PCS orders. Each issue is reviewed by the Military Affairs Office and considered on a case-by-case basis. In cases of deployment, steps are taken to ensure no financial or academic penalties are applied, which often results in the refund of tuition, when necessary, to help the service member avoid Tuition Assistance recoupment. Students are encouraged to continue their education through an online format, once settled, or after returning from deployment, with no penalty for breaking enrollment.
