Why Our School Likes Military Students

The military individual brings a valuable added dimension to the Distance MBA Program because of the depth and breadth of the experience of Officers and NCOs, alike. The scope of experiences and the exposure to the military/federal government manner of conducting business adds a perspective to our classes that only the military and the federal employee can give. Military in our classes help the program to be better rounded and adds a dimension to the projects for other students to understand federal business practices better.

The Distance MBA Program is a 36-credit comprehensive MBA that provides a solid foundation in the five functional areas of business to include Accounting, Finance, CIS, Marketing and Management; additionally, how these five functional areas come together to form a successful organization. The DVD format brings the classroom experience to our students around the world to include the full lecture, class discussions, student questions, presentations and speakers as well as the PowerPoint® and SmartBoard® slides. There is an online communications component to provide interaction between students and professors and other students.

The Distance MBA Program is flexible and convenient; it can be completed in as little as 21 months or may be stretched out to four years. This fully accredited program is identical to the MBA offered on-campus and has the same academic rigors and course content. You will earn your MBA degree from Colorado State University not a distance or online degree.
