The Military Friendly Schools student surveys are an important component of our overall evaluation because we get a boots on the ground, first-hand account of their experience. This peer evaluation is very powerful and we’ve found that prospective students seek out personal reviews from a veteran like themselves. Look for the “thumbs up” icon next to a school name for student reviews.
Key personnel at 12000+ schools are invited by snail mail and email delivery to a secure web portal to enter applicable information via a proprietary PIN code.
Schools cannot be added to the list mid-year. The survey is open from spring time to early summer, with the list running from early September for 12 months. A school must wait until the new survey is open before they can be considered via our survey.
You can view more information on our Methodology page.
